Message from the National President, DICCI
Dear DICCI Members,
The Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) has grown from a visionary movement into a nationally respected industry body. Our evolution is rooted in a powerful commitment: to create an economic identity for Dalits through entrepreneurship. As we continue to grow, we are guided by a clear organizational ethos — one grounded in transparency, professionalism, decentralization, and community- led development.
Building an institution of this scale and impact demands more than passion — it requires structure, systems, and strong leadership. Our approach is decentralized yet unified, empowering state chapters and sector-specific councils to lead from the front while staying aligned with DICCl’s national goals. Across the country, we work to create an enabling ecosystem — through policy advocacy, capacity building, business development, and strategic partnerships with government bodies, financial Institutions, and global allies.
As we look ahead to Vision 2047 — India’s 100th year of independence — the role of DICCl’s leaders becomes even more critical. We envision a future where Dalit entrepreneurs contribute significantly to the national GDP, generate large-scale employment, and leave an indelible mark on every major sector of the economy. Achieving this requires us to strengthen grassroots networks, influence affirmative action policies, expand supplier diversity, and foster inclusive procurement practices across the public and private sectors.
